Privacy Policy
Baby No Cry helps caregivers record or upload short clips and receive an estimated baby-cry pattern. It is not a medical device.
Data We Process
We may process audio recordings captured in the app, uploaded audio files, and recorded or uploaded video files for audio-track extraction only. We also process analysis results, confidence scores, detected sound labels, parent feedback labels, timestamps, cloud storage paths, Firebase user IDs, and optional email or display name provided by Apple or Google sign-in.
How Data Is Used
We use this data to analyze short clips, show results and guidance, store replayable history for signed-in users, enforce daily usage limits, improve model quality using parent feedback, and maintain service security and reliability.
Guest And Signed-In Use
Guest users can analyze clips with a daily limit. Guest analysis requests are sent to the backend for processing, but guest audio and logs are not saved to Firebase Storage or Firestore by the app.
Signed-in users can save history. For signed-in users, replayable extracted audio and analysis metadata are stored in Firebase. If a user records or uploads a video, Baby No Cry stores the extracted audio needed for replayable history, not the original video file.
Video Uploads
In the current version, recorded or uploaded videos are used only for audio-track extraction. Baby No Cry does not analyze, view, or store visual frames, faces, body movements, or surroundings.
Third-Party Services
Baby No Cry uses Firebase Authentication, Firebase Firestore, Firebase Cloud Storage, Google Cloud Run, and optional AI providers only when enabled by backend configuration.
Retention And Deletion
Temporary backend files are deleted after processing. Signed-in user history remains stored so the user can replay and review past analysis unless deletion is requested or a retention policy removes it.
Users can initiate account deletion inside the app from the account menu. Users may also request deletion help at Account Deletion.
Children's Privacy
The app is intended for caregivers. It may process baby cry recordings provided by a caregiver. Caregivers should avoid recording unrelated people or sensitive household conversations.
Safety
Baby No Cry provides estimated patterns only. If a baby has unusual, severe, persistent, or concerning symptoms, caregivers should contact a qualified medical professional or emergency services.
